Ankle Savers

I've heard conversation coming out of animal pens that is more intelligent than what is going on in here.

These are a pretty cool new design from a guy down here in Tennessee. Just thought I would give him a plug. Tom is a super nice guy to just sit down and have a chat with. 3 of our local pros were the "guinea pigs" if you will in the whole design/testing process and all seem very happy with what the pegs have to offer. I myself have a set on order, but have not ridden with them yet so I can't comment personally yet. I can definitely see how they would help out a ton in the event of a hard landing.

Exactly how i broke my tib fib. Riding on the balls of my feet. over jumped a tabletop and on impact my toes about touched my shin. I could have used a set of these

Do you think leaning back and preloading the suspension would be any easy/better with these?

They look like a pretty cool design, they probably tilt down a bit, so if you only wanted to ride on the peg, it would be possible without catching the ankle savers piece. Right? haha.

yea if you watch the 3 interviews, they all say you can't feel them when riding normally. You only feel them in a hard landing. The only downfall I see is if he starts making them for little bikes, 65's and 85's, it may teach the kids to ride more flat-footed. Everyone teaches and learns to ride on the balls of your feet. As a safety type device, it is great tho.

That'd be helpful. I've screwed up my ankles a lot over jumping stuff. Seems like a pretty sound idea, because the feet would never really be that far back or in that area except that one occasion.

what are decent mx boots ??? ive tried a bunch and no really make a difference, but im back to my tech 10's even tho there prob the worst boot possible for protection, next to a NIKE boot.

its a smart design i might even end up buying these pegs, just for the safety if i launch something i have a better chance or no injury. (plus we have a lot of tracks with ski jumps)

Thats funny, I need new foot pegs anyway...I'll def be thinkin about it, biggest draw back I can think of is that is just that much more footpeg hanging out there to snag up on ruts, lips etc. If you get this product, please post a review! haha
