Don't forget this is the internetz and nothing that is being written has to be true.
But anyways, James will go where the money is. KTM has a shitload of them$$$. Stewart main sponsor is Red bull. Hondas main sponosor is Red bull, Red bull probably got more money than KTM, but then Red Bull also sponsors ktm in Europe... This will probably be the most interesting silly season ever so far.

Well actully the money is in the Gps, cuz just to be able to ride a gp you need to put alot in, at the nationals you can just show up with youre pro license in a box van or something like thatstevoktm wrote:screw the nationals, even though thats where the money is. Trust me there is alot more money in sponsors and reward money in america, thats the reason many of the very fast european riders e.g. pourcel move to the states.

They leave becouse of the double season and SX is $$$$Ka-Chin.
I think for a rider are the GP's or nationals almost the same. But the nationals are just way funner.
No breaks of almost a month and 12 instead 15 race's. Also most of the tracks in the US are nicer.
Over here turns youthstream almost every track into a 1lined-epic-failed-outdoor-sx-track...
And ye, open qualifiers are way better then paying yourself in.
In the turkish GP last year was there a turkish guy that got lapped 5!!! times.
That was a real danger between those fast guys.

Are you kidding me?? The nationals is NOT where the $$$ money is...If you are looking to make money racing a dirtbike, do Supercross. Supercross is where the money truely is. Have you seen Kawasaki contengency money for winning an outdoor national in the US?? It ain't shit, lets just say that. Surely the team will pay them a good chunk of change for finishing Top 10 in the championship but other than that, riders are kind of forced into the nationals with contracts. If they had their choice, they would do what stewart did and only do SX. SX is a lot less on the body, too.stevoktm wrote:screw the nationals, even though thats where the money is. Re: James Stewart riding Honda?!?!
SX is fake MX
. It would be the worst thing ever for the sport if the nationals were ever not run.

Re: James Stewart riding Honda?!?!
stewart could win those gp's in his sleep he would never go overseas. the nationals is where its at.

Honestly, unless you are running in the top 10 of sx or mx there is not alot of money in the AMA stuff. If you are not on a good team with lots of endorsements you are not gonna be making much. By the time a privateer spends the money on fuel, hotel room, food and entry fees you are putting alot of money into a weekend and you're lucky if you do much more than cover expenses.
