2011 National Series

Post by Sweendoggy »

Hey all you track makers, please don't feel obligated to participate in this, but I am calling upon ALL OF YOU!

I want to make an outdoor season this year that kicks ass just like the SX series!

Problem is we don't have all 12 tracks on the AMA circuit made yet! That's where you come in, I am going to let you guys sign up to make any of the tracks listed below. More than 1 person can sign up to make a track, and we will let the best track win so to speak, or you can work together on a track, all I am asking for is the tracks Also, you can if you want, but I wouldn't worry about making a track that's already made, as that just seems silly, but I'm sure they can be improved so if you want to go for it! Here is the schedule...Also, please just focus on finishing the displacement map and timing gates first, because I am sure no one would mind not having any environment, if they could at least have the replica track to race on, also it can be any version of the track you want, just hopefully in national form. For the tracks that don't get done/finished, I will simply place a MXS track in it's place, although as you can see we are really close! As I said before, even if you can only finish the displacement, that wouldn't be such a bad thing, as it would also cut down on LAG, but if you have time to finish the whole work of art, by all means!

Blue means finished track
Red means in the process of being made

I have been toying around with the idea of Freestone, but I hate to make a track when the layout will most likely change for next year. You can put my name down though. I need something new to do.

Thanks voutare! The tracks don't change that drastically usually, just put the year you are basing the track on in the title. I will be stoked just to have any version of freestone, and your tracks are among the best so good stuff. Also Pumped on hangtown! Can't wait to shred that track up.

So we only have 3 (2 if checkerz really is working on Pala) tracks left and we can have a replica Outdoor series!!!

BTW, this series will be ran at the same time as SX i'm thinking, thursday before real races, and also am thinking of running a 125 and 250 class, and you can only ride 1 or the other, to split up the entries a bit, as I would guess we will only be able to run possibly 20 man motos, but we will see. I'll most likely run a prequel at Glen Helen as well, to kinda see where things stack up, where we will see how many guys we can run in a moto (please be 40 please be 40! haha)

I'm slowly working on Pala, but it's an off and on process because it's a bit frustrating to find good photos of the actual national track, so please don't hold back from making in waiting for me. If I finish mine, great, if not, hopefully someone else will have made a killer version. The track is damn sick and deserves to be in MXS.

No, they don't but Freestone has changed their layout pretty signifigantly over the past two seasons. First time around it was too amateur-ish, and this year everyone said it was too much big jump big balls. I have a feeling they are going to change it a lot. For instance, the big jump in the rollers, and the tables that Mike Alessi jumped off of. I just see it changing. But I liked last years layout so I'll do that. Seems very MXS friendly.

And what I really would like to see is the 09 High Point with that like Reed riding the hell out of. That massive step up into a dip and over it.
