Gio, your work is your work, but my goodness, you sure could help this community to grow if you would share it a little more. Come on, you've actually released stuff, then taken it down. (wheels) I'm not saying that you should go the 9999 route, because quite frankly, noobs would go rampant using your stuff, but I just wish you would support us a little bit more.

I think we need to just stop relying on GIO so much...sure he has created cool stuff, but he doesn't like releasing his templates/shadings, so we can't expect that of him...On the other hand, there are plenty of other worthy skinners in this community that why should we go through all the "GIO Red Tape" if we don't have to. Don't give the guy so much power, look to the other good skinners of the community.

just out of curiosity,
what would happen if i send my crf template to wilson and hvpunk? (except the risk of it being leaked?)
because i really can't understand that, looks like everyone hates me just because i want to keep it for myself, now seems that just giving it to them would change everyone's feelings towards me..
like giving it out to them it's the same as a public release..it's not even close!
if i ever will do that i will certainly ask them to at least show me which skins they want to release with it, so honestly i can't see that great difference.
i don't want to drag this offtopic again, but this is so weird that i want to understand, so please just give me an answer without bashing or insulting, i'm asking things nicely.

What would happen? There would be two more people that could apply skins to the template(not hv but the chances of him doing it are as likely as you because you disappear). Would it fix how people feel torwards you? No not completely but it would be a start man.

@mr.two i'm not in any way holding control over other peoples work, i'm only trying to MY work for me.
don't want to be mean, but hvpunk has it's part of the template and i have mine that include part of his, so i'm not holding anything that's not mine.

You are absolutely having complete and utter control over other peoples work Gio and I'm not sure you why can't realize that. You have 100% access to Hv and Wilsons work and they are not allowed access to yours, being partners in a project that is many things including just being flat out rude. You have complete control over somebody like myself that has never done anything wrong to anybody, that completely respects your talent, but has to sit around since last November for a Public skin I wanted to release for this community that I still have never gotten back from you. Just you have control over every single persons work that wants to skin the Crf. We as a group are complaining because we are trying to improve this community, help others grow and improve their abilities, and provide great products for people to use and you are single handedly preventing us from even beginner to do that with this Crf. I am not expecting you to just release all your work in psd format but I do not think it is out of the question to expect the people that were your partners in the project to be able to use what they deserve. You ask for respect and sure as hell expect it from people, how about trying to give out some respect for your partners they deserve it just as much as you do.

See gio, I honestly dont care if people use my work i dont release alot of it but i give it to people, if it gets ripped so what not the end of the world they get a perminant ban and the link gets deleted. SHARE YOUR WORK:)

Gio, I honestly don't see why you are being so selfish. Look at DJ, he released all his templates for everything he has made and has any bad come out of it? No, only good. I thought being a creator you would like to help the community thrive, but all you are doing here is holding us back. Sure you could say that a new template could be made for the bike and why doesn't someone else do it? Because its not necessary. Don't take this as bashing because I'm just speaking the truth, your not doing anything with it, so why be so selfish? You are honestly acting like a 5 year old. Plus if you release it you will have noting to be mad about cause no one would feel the need to rip your stuff which I'm sure has already happened. So why hold it to your self? i just don't see the point besides selfishness, its not like people are going to make money off of your work...

You guys trying to convince gio to release his work need to look no further than this topic (http://www.mxsimulator.com/benchracing3 ... f=7&t=6644) to see his stance on the subject.

Stop wasting your time with valid points, and examples of why he should release his templates. You both could better utilize your time by working on a new template. While I agree its completely senseless that we should have to go that route, it's still a more realistic alternative.
