Interesting. Can you screenshot it with a rider on the track and around 30 FOV? Just want to see how wide she is.

Tried out what Haqqvist does with the microdem info. Tested it out on Ocotillo Wells, I couldn't find the exact info for it, but I was somewhat close (http://www.google.com/maps?z=16&q=33.19 ... 970639&t=h) zoom out, it's to the left of Ocotillo. Didn't turn out how I thought it would in game. This is at a scale of 5 with 0-500 for height.

Now that I look at it though, it makes sense the way the greyscale looks to a normal person. It shows the shadows of the mountains/hills. The way the game looks at it, there's a bunch of random valleys and stuff. Sorry for the big images, wanted you to see it in full res.

By the looks of it Jonesy don't expect much from it haha. I'll keep messing with it though.

Ok I figured the height out, was missing a step in Microdem before. Now I just have to mess with the scaling and height to get it fairly close :).

Most improved track builder in the past few months is Bryan. That track is looking light years better than the first few piece of crap you released.

You'll have to give me a run down of how that works, been trying to figure it out myself and just havent got it.

I won't be back on my computer until Sunday night. I tried it at 1:1, it ended up being a scale of 35 and height of 1200 haha. It was soooo spread out, I'll have to look at other areas that has smaller features, then go from there.

If Haqqvist doesn't mind I can make a tutorial, I want his permission first though since he was the first one to do it.

No I wouldn't mind, I've written enough technical descriptions in my days.:)
I wasn't the first to do this though, Christophe Pourcel isn't the only crafty bloke from france...
