haha.. wtf happened? I took these shots at Hangtown. "TGphoto" = Todd Gutierrez Photo. I worked for Vurb at Hangtown and they used my photos. Ryne, the other photog, and I split the gallery. Most of its his and the last few photos are mine. I uploaded photos to a gallery on my site: http://tgmxphotos.smugmug.com/Motocross ... 50_X3QRFRH.

From there, Brent, a Vurb editor, copied my photos and added a Vurb logo becuase I dont have Photoshop and I'm not able to do it. I would not copy anybody elses work and say that its mine. Ask Jones, he knows me personally.

I also own my own "company" because I dont shoot for sites/mags all of the time. I shoot alot of Norcal races and post them on my site when Im not working for anyone. Everyone has their own site. Cudby, Cox, Milan, etc. You need to have a place to show your own work. Everyone is a freelance photographer for hire.

Just thought I would clear some stuff up...

Yeah, I'm sorry. I thought what Puma was saying was that you were really just some guy taking Vurb's pics and cropping out the Vurb logo. Then Robbi quoted what the site said and I went and looked back to notice it said your name.

btw, about how Todd do's it are my plans also.

Start an own company.
Shoot in the week some models, houses, journalistic events and in the weekends motocross (summer), cyclocross (winter).
And work as a freelance. Maybe I can get a full contract for 1mx site but then I still need my company for all those other things I'll shoot. And that company give's me a great advantage when it come's to paying taxes.
+ when there are company's like Rockstar, Suzuki and others want's to buy a picture, I can sell it. When I'm under contract as a photographer for a site and not as a freelance contracter then the site wil forbid me to sell that pic (probarly).

A own company is just a matter of having balls on your body and work verry hard (at the beginning fo sure). But once you've got the name of handing in the pics withing the deadline you promised and you can deliver good pics you're getting a truck load of orders .

anyways, 1 of my interests are Photography i have always used my sisters camera(Canon 400D) but i use it more than she does i really want a good camera that can take photos and shot video's and start motocross video's.

I would suggest a Canon 7D or Canon 5D. I would say get a Nikon if anything, but it looks like you are already familiar with Canons.
