The James Stewart Compound/VitalMX

I've heard conversation coming out of animal pens that is more intelligent than what is going on in here.

What they SHOULD do, and what they DO are two different things entirely. Let's just say they don't see it that way, I know from experience. I can also tell you, the reason the OEM's for Alive are sold as DLC isn't because that is where we most wanted them (rather than being in the original box). I can also tell you that the hassle and cost of a potential law suit is enough to scare a corporation to either not license a vehicle or negotiate a deal ahead of time with an OEM. Not to mention, when you work with so many industry companies, it's good business to only use the companies that choose to participate.

Finally got to DL the track and play it today. Wow is it hard. This track is nuts. Absolutely amazing though, so huge thanks for making this. This will keep me busy for a while trying to get all the lines down.

Rule of thumb i learned in my past 5 years or so..... reason why i removed myself from motodrive/thumpertalk etc all those forums.

never jump on forums and BE that GUY... just shutup and read it and ignore it. Honestly Shack and Jeff SHOULD have just remained quiet i personally believe, and being on both sides of the fences throughout the year i know both perspectives.Should have not mention checkerz anywhere in it either honestly unless you had his permission just to be fair and of course you know that was his employment you COULD have gotten him in a lot of shit. and for motoboss.... welll.... he was just " intelligent " "You cannot stop someone from taking references from multiple places / resources and recreating it"

on a side note Elliott is a decent guy and has a funny sense of humor, it looks like it got blown out of proportions because of emotions from OUR community... just look at the posts.

Word of advice for everyone, troll them forums but stay off em keep related info on the right forums, keep our game here and REAL riding over there with all the guys that cant ride anymore. Shack i know what you were after but as you can see its pointless and useless (hopefully jlv got a few extra purchases at least or downloads for demos)

Woah guy, Yea I Name dropped chris, but I had nothing to do with that whole deal. Nor did shack. Me and Chris had a brief conversation, I apologized, he accepted case closed.

JB you are so wrong on a few levels there buddy.

#1 Elliot is a fucking dbag. Here is a lovely quote from your " funny humor kinda guy "( PM on youtube ). Also unprofessional If I may add to that.

" I guess I should not worry with what you put in your videos, as they are pure shit anyways" - Very idiotic coming from a Lead designer

My reply

" Well good, I guess my videos, and your game have something in common "

I understand your a " Vurb guy " but seriously it was much more than the faults of " OUR " community.

Sorry for DP- No need to really drag this topic on. Seeing as the source ( thread on vitalmx ) is pretty much dead. Both sides did wrong, but to say " OUR " community was the cause is ludacris. Shack posted my video ( guessing he thought is was good ' I hope so at least ' ). Only turned south very quickly.....

Pretty certain I would take mine and James' thoughts on that one a bit above yours; as you've never actually met the person in question. Then again, until someone who has met you comes along and tells me differently, I'll also assume you are a d-bag because of your actions on the internet.

Now I honestly don't think you're a complete d-bag, but was attempting to prove a point. You're constantly slinging crap on the internet and trying to throw out low blows; you might be joking or being a smart ass or intentionally fueling the fire, but it's the internet, and it really just comes off as trolling.

Yeah i try not to get caught up in this but i think its wrong for E149 to come on a forum and talk about the track thats just unprofessional. Yeah the track is similar but its not the same and he made the track all from scratch and i dont know how he can even try to sue for it. Yeah E149 had to probably pay big money to get the track but this is User-created content and its not the same. I mean i never heard him complain about all the skins/models/tracks released for MCM/MCM2? Then he brings up getting the dev of the game in trouble didnt he kind of contradict himself seeing as how all the content was made for MCM2 and thats basically the same company if im right?

@ mx323 - Same i also left TT probably the worst website i have ever been on nothing but a bunch of tools and horrible moderaters we got into an arguement about Leatt braces and i defended my point and i end up getting banned because people gave me bad gas and i didnt even flame anyone...

@ checkerz- Yea I can be a dick. Your point?

Difference is, is I am not a Lead Designer for a big Gaming corporation like THQ. There are standards one of his position should abide by. Myself, I am just a normal guy who loves mxs, and video editing. He has standards he should remember to hold himself to. In a way he is bigger than the rest of us, because we look up to him ( in a sense ) because of the game he is in charge of. If he goes around trolling,Bashing,Hating, around message boards what standards is he holding himself to. Me it does not matter what I say or do, how I act, I am just a nobody on a forum. I don't really have a standard or anyone looking to me for answers like Elliot is.

They way he goes about on message boards is unprofessional, and childish. Call me a dbag/childish all you want, it does not effect me. It does however effect the sales for future releases, if he keeps being the way he is to fans of ALIVE.

I had no idea Eliot "Mr.Coolpants" himself had an exclusive license to the number 149. I guess i should have checked with him before i started using it.

Pretty lame the way he reacted, taking a cool video and trying to make it all personal. "They stole my number, made a cool track, and are trying to make fun of me!" wah wah wah.

Not sure why he got his tits in a twist about it, maybe Kawasakis is right. At least I make 149 look good, Motoboss made a badass track, and Jeff made a killer video.

Yea you did good, IMO shack, and myself also did good. Look threw the threads, shack was helpful the entire time, until maybe some one called him out or something, Did not read threw the entire thing.

Other than 1 comment I made, I did nothing wrong at all. Nor did any of the rest of MXS community, except the ( must have ) bash on DDavis, that kid is a goon to the max.

So not sure where JB, and Checkerz are claiming myself or Shack did anything wrong in this whole deal, but eh well.
