Is that some kind of filter the phone has? If so I can see why so many posters and stuff use that effect now. I never tried to make my screenshots look like that, I tried to make them look like a mix between vurb, and an ad I saw in a MX magazine before (that's where I got the orange-ish tint on one side, blue-ish on the other idea).

Nah, I downloaded Photoshop Action that makes pictures like that. I really like it, looks super nice. And yes, a lot of people use it now, in actions list its probably the most popular one.

I used this one.
