Re: 19802
Sounds like a good idea. For first person users like myself, it might be kind of hard to ride when you have riders going through you and you can't see where you're going. Just something that kinda bothers me...I'm sure no one else has problems with it but oh well
Anyway, i really like the idea. It would be much easier to run faster laps if you don't have 20+ bikes in the way.

I would like to be able to just get in the server. It stays full. Maybe get the people that arent trying to qualify out of the server for a bit to get the guys that are trying to qualify a chance to put some laps in to get a time for the race.
Washed up dirt scootin, whipper tail throwin goon.

Re: 19802
Disabling collisions would not be a good idea. If JLV did, people would be riding inside the same space as you, creating such a hazard because you wouldn't be able to see where you were going. I think switching maxplayers to 15 would be a better solution.Nikhil wrote:Considering that the whole point of 19802 right now is setting a fast lap time and not racing, wouldn't it make sense to disable collisions? It's a bit irritating trying to set a fast lap with 30 bikes crashed all over the track.

I'm not sure that that's possible.Nikhil wrote:make them ghostswheels1758 wrote:Disabling collisions would not be a good idea. Well, can't whoever sets up the server choose to ghost out bikes in certain situations? Don't know if you can ghost them out for the whole race though, since I've never set one up.haydugjr wrote:I'm not sure that that's possible.Nikhil wrote:make them ghostswheels1758 wrote: Disabling collisions would not be a good idea. It should be easy just using the Time trial "ghost fade distance" shouldn't it? I dunno if ghosting is a good Idea or not, but I can't see it being hard to do.haydugjr wrote:I'm not sure that that's possible.
I actually like it better with other bikes to force you into different lines and make you adapt, I just wish everybody was a little smarter and more laid back instead of ramming, pushing, blocking eachother in every corner and over every jump. If you can latch on to a clean smooth rider in front it can be really fun, but right about then usually someone comes cartwheeling out of the next lane, or lands on you whiskey throttling into the whoops etc etc...

Yea what I meant by that was it's not currently possible. It'd require an update of some kind.SOAB_465 wrote:It should be easy just using the Time trial "ghost fade distance" shouldn't it?
