This is something like a request

I need some life-saving setup. What does it mean??
I need some setup that allows me to land in bad positions (I'm not talking about Mx vs Atv, I'm talking about coming up short by a little bit or overshooting by a few feet) and that also lets me go through the whoops with ease

Just wanted to say thank you to the guys posting their setups, finally found a setup that suits my style by mixing and matching setups found on these pages and it's great to see some of the veterans passing on their knowledge and tips. Thanks again guys!

im trying to find a good set up for supercross. Ive tried out a bunch on this forum but i cant whip off any on the triples with out landing almost upside down, and i still cant get the grasb of seat bouncing. I want to be able to whip or scrub good like motoxjeff or some one thats amazing at the game.

Thanks

how long have you been playing? i ask because anyone here will tell you a setup will not help you whip or scrub. only practice can help you there. ive tried some of the setups here (even the fast guys) and they dont work at all for me. so i just set everything back to stock, got spring rates off of Race Techs website, and started messing around and found what worked for me. and it took me forever to learn how to whip decently (i still suck!) and i can only scrub when i get lucky because its so tricky to do.

as for seat bouncing, its pretty easy honestly. sit down (i use B on my xbox controller, and use it as a toggle so i dont have to hold it in turns). when you come up to the lip of the jump pull back and stand up. you wont get a ton of extra air time, but it will give you a little boost and help you clear some things you could almost do without seat bouncing. very helpful on a 125

Thanks for the seat bouncing tip it helped alot! but ive been playing for about a month and a half. Like Im not a goon at the game but I can get around the 2011 sx tracks and get a decent lap time. ill try and get some spring rates of Race Tech and see what I can fool around with them.

I would say yes. This setup is only for if you want to stop a bit faster than front only. Usually I have my brakes on separate buttons, with the rear on normal so I can slide around a bit.

I would turn antilock off on the front and learn some brake control. It seems to hinder your braking power a lot.

Bring your stability to 100, then slowly work your way down. Turn on the 'reversed steering' as well. At this point no setup tweaking or suspension changes will make any difference, but once you can at least play the game, download the latest snapshot and you should get the new suspension settings.
CBM RACING wrote: I don't agree with that. Not that he is wrong and I am defiantly not a expert but I have been playing for a couple weeks and everyone said turn your stability up and work down. One guy told me to turn stability to zero and use all the stock settings. Then just practice rolling the track nothing fancy just keeping it upright for a lap. I tried it and in three days I was 100 times better then 2 weeks of 100 going down. It is hard at first but you will get the hang of it in a day or two then all you need to do is find a good setup and start practicing the more technical stuff. I think it kind of takes the weeks out of focusing on getting your stability down. Give it a shot. If it doesn't work go back to 100.

I had this on my pc for a while and wanted to run a new setup, and now whenever I try to open the app it says it has stopped working? Anyone know why?
