Upcoming Models #2
Re: Upcoming Models #2
Looks to me like the front fender shape has completely changed from 2010-12. I like it xD
Re: Upcoming Models #2
That's a lot better!
And you didn't even DP..nothing to ban you for!
That 2013 CRF sure is beastly. Can't wait to see Reedy on it!

not sure if gio's model was like this, but i remember the crf's skid plate being on the motor. you should model it so that its on the bottom of the frame like it should be. that and the shock linkage always seemed odd to me.
Re: Upcoming Models #2
sorry for DP, but as i'm looking at your model more i see more and more flaws. you should deffinatly change the frame shape too. I also dont like how that front end looks.

Did you read his post? He is just modifying plastics and the pipe so far.

Still looks amazing paul! Haven't wanted to ride something so much since I saw Meghan Rutledge

Ben Fransoo, OG.
Re: Upcoming Models #2
Thank you ktm for clarifying that. Liam honestly i don't truly care about if you like it or not. I see that as you taking as a harsh comment but it is to exact on the reference pictures that i am using. Thanks ben! hahaha, now once i know how to unwrap you can start skinning her for me.
Re: Upcoming Models #2
Ok well guys. The honda that i am currently doing has a problem. The other side is not mirrored. So both side are uneven. I tried to make it look as even as possible but it is hard. Since the blend file was already completed i would have to delete the whole side of the bike model and than mirror it. It would be faster just to continue from my old first model. I already have the front fender, handlebars, shrouds and forks done. I will get right on it and continue from their. Sorry guys but that is what is gonna happen. Unless there is a way to mirror it doing a more efficient way. If there is please please tell me and it will make this much faster.

Re: Upcoming Models #2
cant you still use parts and pieces of others bikes? for example, getting DJs engine and header pipe? if hes will to give you that of course. either way, i wouldnt worry about rushing it. IMO, you should just plan on having it ready for like december to teams have time for sx skins. give yourself plenty of time. and hope to be done sooner. with showtime willing to help, im sure youll get it done sooner.
Re: Upcoming Models #2
You don't mirror the engine or anything like that, I believe all you need to mirror are the plastics... So, you could just delete the plastics and remodel those instead of starting from half of a bike

Re: Upcoming Models #2
Stickerz! honestly i didnt think about that. I will have to remodel the shrouds and i have to fix one side of the number plate so it doesnt have the handle type of thing. I love you stickerz, im glad you thought about that.
