I've heard conversation coming out of animal pens that is more intelligent than what is going on in here.

A couple interesting pieces on AC.

He drew 42 gate pick for his first moto, and must've been almost as bad for his next because he was on the outside gate for both his first motos. NO ONE holeshots from the outside at Loretta's... but AC went 6 for 6 with 6 holeshots on the week.

How special is AC? Well, Davey Coombs who has seen it all moto was running around the track like a kid with his iPhone out taking video during AC's first moto of the week. Keep in mind how much DC has going on at an event like that. That's a big deal.

Anyone know any tracks in NJ that me and my brother could ride this week? Looking at my options and it seems like e-town and atco, and atco doesnt seem worth it. I'd rather find some sweet free-ride areas if there are any?

Private tracks anyone? I typed in NJ Motocross tracks and a youtube video with a dude named Bryan Haskell shreddin some private track...hmmmm? :D

PLEASE READ!

Spend 2 secs, I have the Yoshimura RS-3D full exhaust system on my crf 250r 07. And now that we're planning on going to the netherlands for vacation, I'm not sure what to do for the db's.

I'm pretty sure i should change the packing 'cause that hasn't been touched in a while. But my bike is way too loud for just that.

Since they were bought second hand I'm suspicious, could they have taken off the original sound insert? Supposedly set for 96dB stock, give 1 or 2 for old packing I've read...

If anyone has information for me, please pass it on. I want to ride in NL! :(

Tomorrow morning i'll have to go to the garage and maybe open them up. I'm scared 'cause its Carbon fiber and I don't wanna friggin break it...

If you look into the pipe and don't see a spark arrestor, then they most likely took the sound insert out. And so I've been told, taking that out make a pretty big difference in noise level.

Went riding for the 4th time this year. Put in some pretty fast motos on a new track. I feel really confident on a 250cc 2 stroke, somehow more confident than I ever felt on an 85cc. These past 2 rides I'm actually proud of my ability now instead of being ashamed of being such a damn noob. Unfortunately my day ended slightly early because I somehow got a flat rear tire. Also, riding at 33C (91F) aint easy!

Also, Judge, are you heading over there to race? Unless you're going over there to actually compete in a race, I'd guess nobody is going to give ur bike a soundcheck, so why worry? If you're there to race, then it makes sense to make it quiet, obviously. I cant help you on how to do it tho. Sry.

Some practice tracks are beginning to sound test now, especially as tracks are getting shut down all the time due to noise complaints. It's those 4 strokes I tell ya...

Wtf are these tracks near a bunch of houses or what? And somehow our track, which yo can clearly see downtown from, and is surrounded by stores and industrial buildings, is in no threat of being shut down...

I think it's because residential areas spring up near the tracks and then complaints are filed about the tracks. I think it was Comp Edge that got shut down because a residential area was built across the street from the already-existing track.
