Sorry for starting this if there is already one out there but I need help with skinning. I have a design in mind butI don't know what to do. Please help.

You don't need tutorials. You just have to experiment with things

Do I just open the wireframes in gimp and just start coloring on it and it will show up? That's the part I don't get.

just practice, you can open a skin to do an idea how the were made

k but now how do I make the stripes and everthing that goes on them straight. All I see that I have to work with is the pencil and paintbrush and neither are straight.

First, get familiar with your tools in photoshop or whatever program you're using, play around with them until you know exactly what function each one does.

Second, download the latest models and templates for the skin you want to create. Use the wireframes as reference.

THEN, attempt to create a skin.

Hey what do u do with the paint brush....i have used paint bucket since i started skinning cause the brush has smudgey things and its just really weird....is it better to use the paint brush?

There is no tutorial titled "How to make MXS skins perfectly." You just take methods from others and use them.

u cant use the brush and it be smudgey and make a good bike....it would look like it had colored oil dribbled all over it and greece

hey adhk...lol i finally found how to use it....on the sections u want u just gotta keep the left click down the whole time ur hovering over ur section with the color
