Supercross riding help

Post by Grosser »

Hey guys I've been practicing my supercross and just regular jumping skills lately and what I've been finding especially on the supercross tracks is that if you hit a jump with and speed (the steeped the worse it is) it will kick you front low and usually you'll land on your head or so front end first that you cartwheel anyway. I know this doesn't happen in real life, I've tried leaning forward, staying central or leaning back and nothing works. my setup is:
Fork compression - 87
Fork rebound - 17
Shock compression - 92
Shock rebound - 27
Rider vertical spring - 60
Rider vertical damping - 42
Rider forward spring - 48
Rider forward damping - 9
Mass distribution - .50

I got this set up off someone on the forum, can't remember who though (I didn't really notice a change from the default settings though).

Where have I gone wrong ?!?

Rebound works opposite (just labeled wrong actually). Put your rebound the 80's, should help.

DDMX is drunk as shit, don't mind him haha. On topic, yes put your rebounds up in the 80's and 90's. Make sure your mass ratio is .50, and pull back right as you hit the face only. Don't pull back all the time.
