TBH, I hate the gt500's. For the price, it's not worth it. They're alright on the outside, but on the inside its bad. The interior is cheap plastic and cloth. If I were spending that much on a car, you'd think that you wouldn't have to spend extra for a decent interior.

Can't expect much from ford, there is a reason they are so cheap for the power! Although I do like the 2013 gt500, I would not choose that if I had the money for one. Also I am not a fan of the challenger or charger, the price to performance ratio is not that great in my opinion. I would go for a corvette before a srt8 392 challenger, and I actually drove a 392. A badass car but for that much I would rather spend a bit more for a used Cadillac CTS-V (supercharged 556hp

), unless I did not need to seat 5.Then I would go for a supercharged c6 vette

. Also most of the cars we are talking about are probably more expensive than that Caymen because that looks like it is a used one which could go for maybe 35-45k.

Reread my post. I am not talking about the 392 I am talking about the 6.2 that is coming out for 2015.

As for the GT500 comment, the 2012 and prior models were great to make cheap power with however the 2013 with the new motor and higher boost is not as cheap to modify.

I did read it I was just talking about the ones that are out right now. Also, I have not seen anywhere them confirming a hp number or the transmission, the current 8 speed transmission they have is only capable of holding 516 ft-lbs. Do you have a link to your source for all this?

I always assumed this was a thread for random small bits of chatter. Not two page diatribes about why Fords suck. I'm fine with shack posting " I'm thinking about buying a douchemobile".

Long drawn out posts discussing the finer points of car and car parts design should reside I the car talk topic. Which is why I hunted there's a topic for it.
