I've heard conversation coming out of animal pens that is more intelligent than what is going on in here.

Also, I have not seen anywhere them confirming a hp number or the transmission, the current 8 speed transmission they have is only capable of holding 516 ft-lbs. Do you have a link to your source for all this?
Last post here Mark you crybaby.

The Nag-1 5 Speed that is in current Challengers is good to 580-600 RWHP before issues. As for source, I sell them for a living.

So, i have to order a whole new head for my bike because you cant buy this part separate.

It got messed up when a clutch plate came apart..

Of course, getting a new head, may as well get new valves and springs and all those goodies. looking at just under $1000

Definitely in the market for a two stroke practice bike.

And that is reason number one of many I hate four strokes. Cylinder and head for a two stroke cost about half that. Haha.

The head its self is under $500. the only reason its so much is due to valves and such. which didnt get hurt, i just figure i should get new ones.

It is what it is. I dont see a reason to hate four strokes because of it.

August doing what August does best, telling people how to get more out of their life.

I've been on vacation since Saturday and usually every vacation is fun but this one has been so boring. We rented a house out in the middle of nowhere so nothing's going on except the beach and this one sick surf shop. It's literally like being at home.

Signed the lease for our new apartment at 5:30 tonight, got the rest of July free. Got back to our current pad and asked my roomie what he was doin tonight and he says maybe doing the group ride, why you wanna move? All moved and settled in at 10:30 on the hottest day of the year. I'm beat. Didn't even pack shit, just loaded it into our vehicles as quick as we could. Lol. Happy to be a white guy.

Where are you staying? We tried this one small island at the bottom. If you're up near Duck/Nags Head it'll be a blast!

Well, I went to go look at this car yesterday:

Image

Red with Black interior, 50k miles. Its such a sick car in person. The car was in great shape, except it had 4 dime sized dents on the right side. The car drove great and was mechanically sound, so I negotiated for them to fix the dents for no charge. They agreed and we started talking numbers. They were trying to tell me that the listed price was after a $3000 down payment (it did not state this anywhere). I of course called their bullshit out and wouldn't take it. I told them I went there ready to buy the car at their asking price if it was in great shape. The manager tries to make me a deal at 1800 above their posted list price instead of $3000. I pretty much asked if he was stupid or just wasn't understanding me. Then he said "Ok man, let me do this for you. I'll sell it to you at the list price but you'll have to buy the warranty which is like 30$ a month." So immediately I'm thinking to myself $30 x 60 months = 1800$. I ask him how much the warranty costs and he says "$3800". I laughed pretty much, wrote down my cell phone number on the back of their business card, and told them to call me when they are ready to sell the car at the price they listed it for.

Fricken sleezy ass dealers.

I found another one, but it's in Troy, Michigan (500 miles away). This one only has 33k miles.

It appears to be in great shape. This one is red with tan suede interior. I spoke to an employee from there and he was honest and said "the car is in near perfect shape except for a 2 inch scuff on the back bumper". He sent me high resolution pictures of the mark and assured me that's all that's wrong. I can live with it and eventually have it fixed. Not that big of a deal. We talked price and he said "We don't bullshit here, the price is what you see posted plus 120$ for documentation. You pay tax when you get home". That's my kind of deal!

So I think i'll be buying a plane ticket for next week, fly out there, and drive the puppy home. I'd really like to see the car in person before i make the purchase. If I'm not happy with something, I'll just try to negotiate price down or buy a plane ticket back home.
