Yeah but with ISO standard your dates can be easily auto sorted

When I was a kid, they said the whole world would be on the metric system by now(they also promised flying cars for all!). This kind of thing could have been avoided.

I'm pretty sure you're allowed to do that. Sweeney made a post about it IIRC.
