We don't want people who run laps early in the week to become a target for other riders ("I have to run THAT lap to get in", kind of thing).

I agree with the lap time posting style. People compare it to the AMA SX series but it's really quite different with the amount of qualifying time there is for mxs. However, with only 10 laps, the added pressure of "I need to get that lap time to qualify" might actually hurt people. Maybe it's for the better that you don't show them. haha

I understand that part, but I guess if they don't care, ie run laps on the servers that aren't hidden, then they might as well not be hidden. Also, you only get 20 laps to qualify so what is stopping people from running laps offline or on non-qualifying servers, lining up their times to what the top qualifiers have run then putting in the laps on a qualifying server. Just saying if the point is to keep them hidden, then maybe the qualifying list shouldn't list the names in the order of their time. So one wouldn't see Hunter Root or Matt Cromie at the top of the list, go to a non hidden server, find their time there and there ya go. The times listed in non hidden servers are most likely pretty close to what they ran for qualifying times. I don't care either way really, was just pointing something out is all.
