There is difference between baking normal maps and filtering normal maps. If you have not made the high poly yet then you have not baked normal maps.

It may be better if you slowed down and took a few hours out of that 18 hours of work, to research, listen, learn, and actually understand everything. It will help in the long run. That's if you want to put in the time to improve, if you just want to make quick fixes for all the nooblets to be happy be my guest.

I'm not trying to be a dick, just trying to be somewhat helpful. By making these quick models you are in sense just wasting your own time and, in my own opinion, learning the wrong way to do things. There is no way I'm being negative about you releasing something, awesome, glad you have the motivation to release things to the community. I'm just trying to give some criticism to help is all.

i dont think your a dick at all.. critzism like this helps me learn alot when doing things.. and shit i was thinking earlier that i might as well just restart even.. idk.. im still such a noob at modeling.. ive only been doing it for like 2 maybe 3 months and this is my first legit model that is decent i think.. thanks for the information haha.. keep it coming at me lol

Once its downloaded, if its a .saf just put it straight into your mx simulator folder, if its a .rar you have to install winrar or 7zip to extract the files then put them into your mx simulator folder.

Theres tutorials on youtube i think you still need help shoot me a pm.

damien, masons right. ive takin some of my free time at school to watch tutorials and its helped me a lot with how to do proper bakes, and new faster ways to model object. i spent 10 hours on my 2014 kxf and finished the low and high poly plastics, bakes and the temp in a such short amount of time. ( Its just my plastics on stevos 2010 kxf) and it came out clean. I can try and link you some vids in a pm if you would like.

i use sculpt mode for my high polys and for the low poly i open 2 3d platforms and have one with a top view then the other with a right view. i then add a plane and put the 2 ends to line up with the edge of the seat. then i scale the pic thats to big down. i go into edit mode and subdivide and delete the 2 left vertices. then i add a mirror modifier and i start adding polys and shaping from there. i made crf plastics in 4 hours on the low poly.

You aren't supposed to open a saf.... it goes straight into your personal folder. A saf is created to keep people from accessing the files it contains
