Jersey skinning
Jersey skinning
I made a jersey on the psd file I downloaded but when I chose it in the game it's sideways,... the gloves are on the back...
What is the problem?
What is the problem?
Re: Jersey skinning
You named it incorrectly and it is on the wrong model.
Re: Jersey skinning
Or you forgot to rotate it after saving it as a png. Show us what it looks like in game.

Re: Jersey skinning
yeah, that's a model JM problem. Does it say it can't find anything in the chat box when you start the game?

Re: Jersey skinning

A .jm file I dont have?? It was a pack download from: https://fbcdn-sphotos-d-a.akamaihd.net/ ... ed5a042635
Re: Jersey skinning
You need JMs. JMs tell the game where to put the skins. Get the p2sta rider model. It has the JMsBertje wrote:

Re: Jersey skinning
You need to name the skin to go on the correct model. Find the correct model (should be available where you got the template) and name your skin so it goes on that model (or make a second copy of the JM that is named like your skin).
Re: Jersey skinning
This can't be any further away from being correct.John23 wrote:You need JMs. JMs tell the game where to put the skins. Get the p2sta rider model. It has the JMsBertje wrote:

A jm is basically the model file, that is what the game reads to load the actual model. The "skin" is exactly what it sounds like. To make it simple, the "skin" wraps itself around the actual model, which the model has the information for that.
What happens if you save the skin saved wrong? The skin will not be able to find the correct jm, therefore can't read how to "wrap" itself around the model. This it looks all weird.

The topic above will explain to you how to actually name things correctly.

Re: Jersey skinning
Right, but in order to make sure this isn't a problem again he should understand how they game actually reads these files, what it does with them, and what happens if it is named wrong.
