This idea just came to my mind, but it's directed towards Swheels about the "adding people by qualifying time" rule. I'm fully supportive of it, but I have something that I think should be added to make it fair.
-If an LCQ has less than the 22 riders required to make a full gate, riders will be added in this order:
TL;DR - If an LCQ isn't full, add guys who were in for UID grab before guys who weren't so the guys who were there for UID grab don't get screwed.
-If an LCQ has less than the 22 riders required to make a full gate, riders will be added in this order:
- Riders who WERE IN ATTENDANCE FOR UID GRABS but were not a part of the fast 40, in order of qualifying
- Riders who were not in attendance at UID grabs but showed up late, in order of qualifying
TL;DR - If an LCQ isn't full, add guys who were in for UID grab before guys who weren't so the guys who were there for UID grab don't get screwed.

You made some good points, but at the same time, I still feel top 5 or even 10 in points should get the first chance.bdownen323 wrote:This idea just came to my mind, but it's directed towards Swheels about the "adding people by qualifying time" rule. Should I be put in first? I don't think so. I missed UID grabs, and the other two guys were in for that, so they should have priority over me. Feel free to weigh in, but this is my opinion.

That could lead to people exploiting that rule instead of being fair to those that could attend. "I'll jus keep rokin bowls till lcq and shoo in"

Well, good thing Hunter is going to be on time for uid grabs and heat races now. If that rule does get applied.

I agree

Re: 2015 MotoOption Supercross presented by Fly Racing
IMO- I thought it would be a good idea to take the number of missing riders from the TOP40 (6 for example) and have a 4 lap moto to decide who got those spots. So the best or most consistent would go.bdownen323 wrote:This idea just came to my mind, but it's directed towards Swheels about the "adding people by qualifying time" rule. Another good idea would be releasing the track on time.bdownen323 wrote:This idea just came to my mind, but it's directed towards Swheels about the "adding people by qualifying time" rule. I'm fully supportive of it, but I have something that I think should be added to make it fair.
