Re: 2015 MotoSport rF National Round 5: High Point
I thought it was the best version of this track yet. Very fun to ride even though my slow butt could only manage a 2:17...but that's more my horrible cornering ability. Thank you for all the work !
Re: 2015 MotoSport rF National Round 5: High Point
I will just leave this here. Got back from my vacation to find this on my Skype.
I dont believe its built on an overlay, a fucked one, scale and size dont matter, it means it was stretched, you cant move the earth. Your old base sucked dick, and not near 80% completion, and thats why it wasnt used.
[6/10/2015 9:11:50 PM] Andrew Wood: I didnt do glen helens timing gates, or have a say, it was there again this year, and when mentioning an invisible wall was told it wasnt needed
[6/10/2015 9:12:28 PM] Andrew Wood: I could donate to creators if i wanted to. how do you know i havent donated to barrington for SX and all the tracks last year he did.
[6/10/2015 9:13:37 PM] Andrew Wood: All of my feedback is never met with any concern, all of my attempts to help have been rejected, youve only responded well once to my nice feedback. Alnd when i ask to help thjis year just now im told "get in ts when were making it" a track isnt made in one night, thats a stupid reply ive heard from others
[6/10/2015 9:16:17 PM] Andrew Wood: You think theres a reason why there is so much backlash over the last few tracks and especially this one compared to barringtons? quality. he also doesnt get butthurt when people bitch. The series would be pretty good without you helping, yeah allowing to change tracks is nice, or you can be off a high horse and allow your base to be touched instead of not letting people. Only 2 tracks i believe were improved this year in 5 rounds were hangtown and GH, both done by barrington. with time and thought put into them. I DID NOT RUN OFF GIO, i dont knwo what kind of comment that is. But id rather use old tracks than have half ass edited versions
Re: 2015 MotoSport rF National Round 5: High Point
Now that I'm home, I've copied the PSD that has both the ortho overlay image and the google overlay image both on it with the base terrain I built. The terrain was prior to the terrain being flattened to a single layer for easier editing, but just proves the point it was built on a correct overlay with sections in the correct spaces.

Get rekt Awood. Honestly after watching the race, I feel this was a way closer base then the one before it and Hagg/YFmx even said it was that close... It's cool you want to give feedback but no one wants to listen to your ignorant thoughtless comments and hear you go on and on about how much more better Barrington's tracks are. Hop off his dick already.
What is funny is you keep talking about a "ortho" they aren't in a orthographic view you dip fuck. Our eyes see in perspective same as our lenses for cameras... if you had half a brain you would understand that, NOTHING will be accurate to a image you can only get close. Same goes for models, you will never get an accurate image unless you are going off a cad model in a orthographic view.
If it weren't for the group that was involved putting in the late nights (WHO ALL HAVE REAL JOBS EARLY IN THE MORNING) so spoiled bitches like you don't bitch that "Wah we don't get new tracks or updated tracks WWAAAHH". There would have been a lot more people bitching if there wasn't something then if there was one, especially with the major updates they did this year.
Honestly if I was in charge, I wouldn't let you race. If you don't like it and your going to be a douche, why should I let you race?

1 point addressed. none other responded to. Private messages ignored and shared for no other purpose than public shaming, and no response in skype. Real mature chris. If you want to talk in private where those messages are posted feel free. Im sure you wouldnt be happy with me posting any of our past private conversations on the forums for all to see.
I'm not a spoiled bitch, never would, and never have bitched about tracks not being updated. I disagree with the statement, and its funny people like you and chris are still going on about this, publicly at least. Guess its a maturity thing.
And you're not in charge, but if you were, or to Michael who threatened not to let me race i would say this. Im entitled to my opinion about the tracks, and imo just because i dislike a track, doesnt mean im not going to race it. Doesnt mean i shouldnt be allowed to race, because i hurt someones feelings (not yours, or his). I still appreciate rF and the site and the stuff they do for all of us, or the time i've invested over the years and this year for points and fun. Theres still nothing like it.
So because i have a track creator/creators that i feel havent put in effort or put out a track that is subpar, and have voiced my opinion, i still am going to race. if possible. Thats why.
Im sure i've put way more time and thought into my comments and posts about this track, mostly the ones with illustrations and references than what was put into this whole trackm121c wrote:t's cool you want to give feedback but no one wants to listen to your ignorant thoughtless comments
Implying almost every mx sim creator ever hasnt called the overlay an ortho. Everyone from Chris to barrington to smr to jay to korey. Another random shot at me thats irrelevant.m121c wrote:What is funny is you keep talking about a "ortho" they aren't in a orthographic view you dip fuck.
Wow a group of people finally realizes how much work goes into making a track. Quality or not.m121c wrote:If it weren't for the group that was involved putting in the late nights (WHO ALL HAVE REAL JOBS EARLY IN THE MORNING) so spoiled bitches like you don't bitch that "Wah we don't get new tracks or updated tracks WWAAAHH". i know how much work goes into a quality track.
So which way is it exactly, your 20 second paint job took more time than the weeks to build a new track from scratch or the other way around?AWood wrote: Wow a group of people finally realizes how much work goes into making a track. Quality or not.
I can promise you a lot of effort went into this track from a lot of people. Funny it is so subpar to you while many others (who I don't even talk to regularly or know personally) say it is better than many other tracks I thought were really good.
Now, I will respond I guess since you haven't heard the first times...
A) National tracks generally do vary in widthI dont get it. How the tracks built on an overlay with so many variations in width.
B) I explained before that the new sections Tony didn't have an overlay and did build them a bit wide. I narrowed them up the best I could with the time allowed. It was deemed by the team building the tracks it was better to finish this version even with these flaws than to race the old version
I personally think it looks really good. I run shaders on, not sure how it looks without. It definitely doesn't look like a stock track. This is opinion on both sides though. It looks like a stock track,
See previous PSD posted about building off an overlay. The new version is correct 100% for sure. Not sure what or why with the old version because I didn't build it.the section before the finish is slanted as fuck
I didn't place the starting gates so I am not sure. The inside gate on the actual track isn't a straight line to the first turn either though, I do know that. I didn't go in game to look at this.the inside 5 gates still run straight into the first turn.
You mean too many cheaters and not sure what you mean by "fucked up timing gates" since you would rather just be an asshole than provide good feedback that can actually be used. And I did my best with what was presented to get rid of the quad (it was super easy apexing the inside before the bump was added). Funny, you didn't have any problems with stupid ridiculous lines in SX when Stephen was building the tracks...Too many cheater lines, fucked up timing gates, and 5th wide quads for me to have fun.
where i can understand Chris or Race. I feel bad for Race though trying to do all he could.
And I didn't?
In my opinion chris even the last year base you were building is better than this...
So which one is it exactly?Your old base sucked dick,
I will just leave this here.

Let's see what you have, from scratch, instead of piggybacking off others talents and claiming them as your own.I can make tracks, place statues and decals.

not replying to anything other than this, once again showing off for public shaming.

If i get banned for voicing an opinion on tracks, then there damn well better be a ban for the 10+ ddavis death threats, in game, on the forums, and everywhere.
Its hard not to enforce a rule since 2013 when its implemented and then pull it out of your ass for a single incident to make a point because it finally affected you.

You claimed I didn't answer your questions but I had answered all that I had anything to do with before. If it isn't smmo for your bitching or a chance to show your never ending love to Stephen you ignore it. The width, the overlay, layout all had been covered. So a quad is what makes this a shit track?
Re: 2015 MotoSport rF National Round 5: High Point
Man you just get it do you? It's not the fact you spoke your opinion its HOW you did. I swear some peoples kids...AWood wrote:not replying to anything other than this, once again showing off for public shaming.

And in my opinion public shaming is only fair when there are disrespectful "feedback" rants from punks.

Ok i do want to bud in right here all of you guys have a good point the is a point were the opinions need to stop because then it starts arguments and if you dont like the track that much and you already stated your opinions so back off and you go try and put the updates or even do what these guys are doing for this community i have sat back and watched everything and nothing has been done its you guys wanting to rip eachothers heads off and if you say you can make a track like they do and then have it raceable so mostly everybody likes it then you have the dicks that come along and try to prove you wrong and i went back and i did not see one messed up timing gate its not cool to try to fight if your information is wrong get your facts right please before you go and try to bag on the people that do the most for this community and don't ask for anything back they do it barbecue they want to yeah plus they dont want to here all you guys bitch about everything and if there isnt a track on time you guys freak the hell out. I said my words now im outie good job to the people that have help over the years and checkers you arnt in the wrong. Bye Guys Peace

Let's be honest though: that 6 pack was really tight. I'm sure if someone wanted to, on a more fresh track, they could quad or 5 in that section

The timing gates, you may have answered the width but it doesnt mean its still not bad. The overlay response... is totally irrelevant. That psd proves nothing.
