After reading that I went from 100 vertical spring and 30 damping to 80 spring and 30 damping. That seemed to fixed the problem for me atleast on millville. What is happening here? Is the rider spring rate constant and by shortening the travel it becomes less likely to exeed 31 feet / second?jlv wrote:The rider is tossed when his relative velocity compared to the bike exceeds or when under 43 G of acceleration.
My rider spring/damping settings feel wacked. Was there any changes to this in the update?vmaki wrote:I really like the update! Digressive damping makes breaking much easier without the no endo setting.
I have been testing my suspension on 2015 millville and the start of the rollers was always giving me legsoff. After reading that I went from 100 vertical spring and 30 damping to 80 spring and 30 damping. +1 on that for me. No idea whats going on but that message pops up every time I exit the game. Im only skipping through the editor to get to 3rd person when it happensmxsrider96 wrote:I honestly hadn't even gone into editor mode once except to get to the third person camera. However I did just barely notice, when I try to exit game, it pops up with red text that starts with, "Track has been modified" or something like that. I always get out of that screen too fast and never thought to pay attention. I don't know why it'd say track has been modified if I wasn't modifying anythingjlv wrote:The only way I could get it to happen was by moving decals around. Just curious but what is mxbin? is that for mac or something?jlv wrote:Here it is with twice the high speed range. This makes all 100's feel almost unrideable to me so hopefully it'll be enough.

I think the setup Shack posted was for 09-21 lolJS19 wrote:Fucking love this snapshot with shacks setup, only problem im having is i get bad lag spikes when riding i go from 125 solid then to like 45-60 every like 5 seconds help?
If you're doing something like leaning back while the bike is also pushing the rider back, you'll make it more likely that the rider will be tossed. It would have less effect with a softer spring.vmaki wrote:After reading that I went from 100 vertical spring and 30 damping to 80 spring and 30 damping. If you load a track and immediately choose "Quit", does it give you the modified track message? If it doesn't, tab through the editor and check it again.blaster70 wrote:+1 on that for me. Alright, was trying to recreate, and out of the tracks in my server, End Of Summer was the only one that did, and it said, "Track has been modified since last save! Think about it!!!" And it made me load the track for a second time. Going to load some of the eastern rounds of 2015 sx into my server now and test those, because I know they were affecting Dom during suspension testingjlv wrote:If you load a track and immediately choose "Quit", does it give you the modified track message? Not a necessity, but I'd probably fall in love with this game all over again if this were implemented. Especially since, out of personal experience, it seems like most people play third personbarrington314 wrote:could we get an option to start up default in 1st or 3rd person?
It's jlv's way of punishing those who choose that horrible camera viewbarrington314 wrote:Mine does it too but its very random. Sorry, I know thats of no help but just saying. Same as above, just cycling through to get to 3rd person. Which brings up another point... could we get an option to start up default in 1st or 3rd person?
