If you add a spec map to your gear, it will make it look so better. Specular maps control how much shine is on a particular area. To make a really simple one, make a new layer in PS, and make it all black and set the opacity to 20%. That seems to work great for me

Page molestation from the screenshots I didn't use from updating logos/parts on the Yamalube bikes. Lets just say these versions of the bike were in beta stage, but hey they still look good.
