Put the snapshot in your installation folder: C:\Program Files(x86)\Mx Simulator, is the default directory.

What I do is, step one go into the mx folder and rename the current mx.exe to todays date (what ever date its replaced with a new snapshot), then I move the renamed exe to a folder I made named old exe (incase the new snapshot doesn't agree), then I download the new snapshot.....place the new snapshot in the mx folder, go to the desktop and delete the old shortcut, then make a new shortcut using the newly downloaded snapshot.

I suspect that u are using the old shortcut on the new snapshot...I might be wrong, just what it sounds like to me.
