Re: 2016-10-23 snapshot
I seriously think there is a problem within this update jlv. I can't do half of a lap without having a ridiculous crash. The game feels like a completely different game now. Going back to the older snapshot, I do perfectly fine. My consistency is back and I can run lap after lap no problem. Go back to this snapshot and it becomes impossible again. Do you remember when you changed the way the back shock worked because there was an error within your coding? Could something similar be going on here? I'm not the only one struggling after the update, I know of several people who feel the same way.

Does it improve if you remove zzzrtestzy.saf?DonnieTheDealer wrote:I seriously think there is a problem within this update jlv. I can't do half of a lap without having a ridiculous crash. I haven't had a problem with the new handlebar collisions. Maybe it's because I don't play everyday and assume crashes are from me sucking, but my advanced stability feels the same as before, just with less handlebar bounce-back incidents.
I had a crash the first time I played with this snapshot loading a track. but after that it's been fine.
The new startgate timing seems good, I like it. Thanks for the snapshot jlv!

I put Windows 8 compatibility and i had no problem now, guess is an issues with Windows 10Wahlamt wrote:I've had sort of a similar problem. Before it's always taken 2 tries where it opened on the 2nd one (previously before upgraded hardware it could take 10 times), now it sometimes takes three tries. But the strange thing for me is that before, if I had sim running and shut it down, if the pc was running after, it would always 10/10 times open on the first try. Now if I wait a bit and launch it again, it's the 2-3 tries all over again.. This is on Windows 10.RFX_corentin_12 wrote:Since the new snapshot, i had to start my game 6 or 7 times because he crash everytimes when i launch it before he want launch good, it's really annoying..

Re: 2016-10-23 snapshot
When you say you're getting ridiculous crashes, what exactly do you mean? It's obviously something about the slimmer/slicker handlebar collisions. Can you describe what's happening that's unexpected?

Most of mine seem to be front end lock related, dont know about anyone else though.
Re: 2016-10-23 snapshot
I keep having these same problems. Just weird incidents were i would never get front end lock beforeKtmrdr11 wrote:Most of mine seem to be front end lock related, dont know about anyone else though.

It kind of feels like the front end of the bike is very light now. The front end is very twitchy and never really feels like it wants to set into a corner. Overall it just feels very unstable and planted compared to before the update

Re: 2016-10-23 snapshot
The slimmer bars could make it easier for the rider to touch the ground, which does trigger the rider falling off. It might be possible to change the rider collision to compensate.
There were no changes that would make the bike more or less twitchy.

Re: 2016-10-23 snapshot
Was really curious about this after reading all the negative comments.
Tried it out and honestly everything works like before, except better just in the way I imagined it was meant to be. I don't know how low you guys have used to go in corners and stuff, but for sure all my few corner slips (during many successful laps) has been all realistic and something I would assume happening in real life. I've noticed some fast riders tend to ride in a way that is far from realistic and that might be the issue when you have used the bar end collider as a third wheel literally in corners and now when it's gone you have to change your habits.
Also I'm pretty sure the twitchy front end feeling and stuff like that is just a placebo since I don't see the logic behind it, as only the collider has changed. Secondly I don't feel any problem or difference there.
