Hey Guys...Brand new MXSIM player here...Downloaded game last night and I am looking to download some bike skins...Before you crucify me I have gone and read/watched a bunch of tutorials on how to do this and for some reason can't get any skins to work. I have the latest snap. When I downloaded the bike skin I extracted file into my MX Simulator Personal Folder...Any Ideas?

ok this may be a stupid question. Since I installed this game last night. it should have the updated snap correct? When I open the game and select a bike I have all the bike models up to 2013. The video said to place the !RPP2vs2016 folder into the Program Files/MXSimulator folder. I did this and still have no luck. What am I doing wrong? Dunno if it matters i'm running Windows 10

Ok I didn't have the latest snap haaa...So now I have the 2016 models but still can't get a new skin to work..I've tried putting the skins in my personal folder and also the program files/mxsimulator folder...

First off, welcome to the community.

When downloading bikes, it is important to realize you need two things:

The bike model - this is the actual bike shape
The bike skin - this is the "graphics" persay

You are downloading skins, but in order for them to work properly, you'll need the model (my guess is they are showing up in your list but not working properly in game?)

You are extracting them from the .rar or .zip file correct?

Program files folder for all files except for tracks you're making. So everything you download (more or less) should go into the program files folder

Ya I tried the program files folder as well and still nothing! I don't get it!
