Appreciate the positive feedback. I'm not doing this for peoples opinions, because I know they are prob thinking the same thing. I do this just for fun and experience. Sorry if you don't like them but instead of being negative and trying to roast me about them, try helping me on what I should do better. Before this turns into a shit show again please don't reply to this.TH_722 wrote:Idk how but you always seem to make the screens worse with your editing

Re: post your screen shots of MXSim
I do very little editing to my screenshots. Slight lens blur to the background, slight smart sharpening to the rider. Butter screenshot.

Also a shadow can add so much to screenshot. A shadow is always the first thing i add to a screenshot before any blur and just by doing that it always looks 100x better

Well you blur the shadows anyway so they don't have to be perfect. And one way to fix that is just to take shots angled up so the ground isn't included lolMxVelocity747 wrote:I used to do shadows but I felt like they took me forever so I said fuck it no shadowsAHeckman2 wrote:YepCrossFlow Racing#16 wrote:Also a shadow can add so much to screenshot. It's one of those things where when you first learn about it and you do it yourself its like "oh my god this is sick." and after all that wears off and you continue to do it for a while it just starts to become a little time consuming and i can totally see where people just get burnt out on it but it is simple to do, dynamic lighting would be nice, but that would make my screenshots not all that original....

Re: post your screen shots of MXSim
I just do drop shadow, create new layer from it, and lower the opacity to 40% or so, motion blur it... boom! If it doesn't look right, I don't use a shadow. If it looks right, I use it. I'm not going to waste longer than 2 minutes trying to make it look nice

Re: post your screen shots of MXSim
they aren't that hard to me, i personally enjoy all the aspects of editing so i don't mind doing the shadows and to the point that i end up drawing them on the engine and like basically anywhere i can, it's fun to me, but i've also been in that boat long ago where it's just been annoying and where i haven't taken screenshots because i felt it was annoying to do the shadows and shit.
