If this happens, I'll enter :).

2) You should have one of your servers setup with all the contest track entries so people can play the contest tracks online whenever they want during the judging period.
I'm definitely going to have a server with the contest tracks on it. My old gear smells bad enough that I'd be too embarrassed to give it away. :P

I know it's a little late to ask questions, but is there a requirement that you need working AI riders on your track?
I'm obviously not entering this comp, but i was just curious.

I think everyone's over AI riders...
You have to be in it, to win it.

Its good for beginners, the AI is good enough competition. Better than them getting in the way on multiplayer.

But yeah, no one bothers developing AI. I think I'm the only one who has had a good stab at training them, but they were still useless. And that was with simple tracks, not like the ones we make now

Isn't the key to training them going slow and not crashing? When I hop of my mxs bike it's wfo and crash my brains out everywhere.

Yes, JLV said a long time ago that being cautious wins over crazy. Generally, scrubs don't work, nor any sort of air-movement. Straight up and down, and simple techniques is what it takes to train good AI. (Not to mention a fairly easy track. My track wouldn't work for AI, considering everything is tech and bumpy.)

Triggerhappy did a great job on the AI for Circuit De Landsard, but that isn't very bumpy...

That made me think about how great this game would be if it was a motoGP game.

If you ever decide to release the source code for bikes/rider positioning/wheel positioning and stuff, I'll finish my Sachsenring track.
