Your args file looks ok. Try this; Go to Start>All Programs>Accessories, then right click on command prompt and select Run as administrator. When it opens type

cd filepath_of_your_mxserver_ folder (example: cd C:\Users\Nate\Desktop\MXS\mxserver)

Now hit enter, then type the name of the batch file you created and hit enter again (example: serverrun.bat).

It should start now, by start I don't mean it will open mxs and go to your server on it's own. If it's running it will just show "filepath mxserver.exe --args-file serverargs.txt". If it looks like that and the cmd stays open, go in game and for the server ip use 127.0.0.1. That is the ip you use to enter your own server, everyone else uses the ip you get from sites like http://www.whatismyip.com/

Might have to forward your ports for 19800. But it runs fine now and stays open?

http://portforward.com/ Choose your router, then use one of the program guides as a base to go off of. Just forward a port and use 19800 for starting and end udp and tcp.

Actually, I made a mistake. If it has the WSAECONNRESET error that means the server isn't running, or has an error that is preventing it from working. When you get the Contacting Server error is when it is running but you can't connect.

Your server isn't actually running then, after you start it can you take a screenshot of the command prompt and post it here so we can see what the error is?

Hmmm, I have no idea what that TODO message is from. Is there anyway you can try it on a user profile that is set to be an administrator? I know I have to run the cmd with admin privileges for the server to run right.

I have to remember to fix that message. It gets there when there is a command line parameter that it doesn't understand. Most likely one of the options in serverargs.txt has a typo.
