Yamaha YZ144

I've heard conversation coming out of animal pens that is more intelligent than what is going on in here.

Yeah.
Nuthin like a 250 2-stroke. Plenty of torque in the new ones. And violent power up high. Scary machines. Like a 450 4-stroke but less predictable :)

Seems to me a 144 wouldn't be much more powerful than a 125. only 10% bigger engine capacity.
4-stroke induced bankruptee.

Oh yeah, its totally the same as a 125, that's such an idiotic comment.
You really think Yamaha would put tons of testing and money into making a 144 if it was the same as a 125? let me answer for you, NO.

The only reason yamaha is making one is to keep up with KTM. They have been making the 144 2t for a while now.

Excuse my ignorance but in what class is that 144 allowed to race?

They have been declared legal in the 125/250/lites class in the amateur ranks. Not sure if it is legal for pro class or not tho.

Also makes a good enduro or scrambles (woods racing) bike, where there really aren't class restrictions.
