Re: Upcoming Models #2
very small update... Almost completed frame, just need to adjust where the front down tube meets the steering tube... squeezed the silencer in a little, and started on the swingarm...

Re: Upcoming Models #2
Nice,the silencer looks way better.
Re: Upcoming Models #2
That is looking really really good!
I think you should make it much high detail. If it is too high in the end you can use it for the normal map and then shave down polys. It is looking a bit blocky and considering we can have higher detail, I think you should.
Looks good though!

Re: Upcoming Models #2
Have you tried reducing polygons? It is so much harder than adding them

are you sure?DJ wrote:Have you tried reducing polygons? It is so much harder than adding them
it´s a lot easyer to wash polygons than add polygons, at least for me..

Massacre ftw!
the human stupidity and the universe are unlimited, and im not totally sure about the universe...

I'm with mace on this one. At least in 3ds max, you should model high poly then reduce.mace-x wrote:are you sure?DJ wrote:Have you tried reducing polygons? It is so much harder than adding them

Re: Upcoming Models #2
You'd think that it would come down to what program you use....

That kickstarter looks like it's for a 85.You need to make it look more like this.Duckstream wrote:http://img39.imageshack.us/img39/5781/engine.png
Still its not any type of motor, just 4stroke.
Tips?

Re: Upcoming Models #2
Mildly true. It's much harder to merge verts in blender than in max. In blender, you select two verts > alt+m > merge options. In max, you hit one button, then just click the vert you want to merge. Max coincidentally also makes it easier to add faces as well.TimFerry15 wrote:You'd think that it would come down to what program you use....
