hello, i would like to know if somebody can help me, i load while ago the 450 crf (i mean the skin), but i have always this that appear when i start playing? do you know if there were an update of the 450 crf 09 or 250 crf 2010? thanks a lot for your answer! i cannot find this model again in the forum or if there were an update. here is the pics of what i got when i open with this bike:

ok, could someone help me out, this is the default rmz250 skin, and before anyone says just use a skin and rename it as the default, ive tried rmz250, rmz250-default, rmz250-, rmz250.png, on a 2010 skin i made but nothing works.
any help would be greatly appreciated :-]

Hello, im new here, coming from mxg-hq.com as MiNi
Im having a problem with downloaded models. It seems that I have working bike models, but I still can't seem to get any rider models to work.
I recentlty downloaded ShackAttacks skin/model pack, and it seems that I am able to get most of the bikes with the models working. However, I pasted all of the other skins along with the bikes in my personal folder. However, only about 14 rider skins show up. What am I doing wrong?
Help would be very kind and appreciated!

thats happening to me too when i put on a skin and start playing the skin isnt in its place its all over the bike. i was wondering if anybody else could help me?

You aren't supposed to open them, that's the point of a saf file. The game still reads them.

little question:
is it possible in blender to bake an ambient occlusion map with normals?
i mean, i want to create ao maps for the ktms and rider model, but plain meshes are missing a lot of little details (ktm) and all the wrinkles (rider model) so it's almost useless to do since they will result very poorly accurate.
i wasn't able to find any tutorial on how to include the normal details in the ao maps, so i think maybe it's just impossible.
any clue?

I don't know if this really helps, but i found a page on this, and here's a peice someone wrote:
"I use the blue channel of the normal map to get the height information and then by bluring and tweaking this result, I can generate something close enough to a real ambient occlusion."

thanx timferry but that's not what i'm looking for.
