I don't think their problem was using the scrambler. I believe the skins they were testing it on were not showing up in game.Jamie T wrote:The file scrambler works fine. Here is how I used it...
When I do like that, I don't see the skin name in the list...wheels1758 wrote:I got it to work.
Scram the PNG (name it .png.scram).
Place in personal folder.

Well I saw someone had an issue with scrambling files with spaces in the name. Also the method you described, didn't work me for some reason, so I had to do a little googling to find out exactly how to do it. I never use command line, and I'm guessing a few others don't either, so hopefully it helped someone.wheels1758 wrote:I don't think their problem was using the scrambler. Try a rider skin, that is what I tried and it worked. Could be an issue with the game finding bike skins with .scram.Kamloops wrote:Same problem.. :/
Try this. Put it in the folder with the skins and mxscram.exe. Open with notepad++ (or other text editor) and change the filename after "set input=". Save the batch file and double click it to run.Jamie T wrote:COMMAND LINE IS HARRRRRDDDDDDDD!!!!!!!
It's only hard when someone tries to follow your instructions...wheels1758 wrote:Jamie T wrote:COMMAND LINE IS HARRRRRDDDDDDDD!!!!!!!
I would consider it if I knew what the heck the scrambler was doing...Phathry25 wrote:Wheels, drop your plans for the weekend and write a desktop scrambler instead. You'll save yourself time and trouble in the long run. Lol.
You mean to scramble a bunch of files at once?Jamie T wrote:Hopefully it's pretty simple to take this further, and write a program which will allow batch processing of files..?

Makes it harder for people to rip.krossboy wrote:What the scramble thing does? I might have missed it from stuff belov so don't be hard on me please.
Thanks! Yeah multiple file scrambling was what I meant by 'batch'.wheels1758 wrote:Try this.Jamie T wrote: Hopefully it's pretty simple to take this further, and write a program which will allow batch processing of files..?
Put this in a folder with mxscram.exe and all the pngs you want to scramble, then run the batch file.
